Here is a little sneak peak of the cute little guy I took pictures of the other day! Just a few of my favorites.

Salt Lake Pops Collaboration: Skyfall

The Salt Lake Pops Orchestra is an amazing group that gives popular music an orchestral twist. Lately I have been able to do a fair amount of work with them, both editing and filming. My first collaboration with them, Skyfall, will be up very soon, but here are a few stills as a preview.

Christmas Mini-Sessions

It's been a busy holiday season with lots of Christmas mini-sessions. We've had lots of families of all shapes and sizes. Here are a couple of our shoots, with more to come soon. 

We had a dog in one of our sessions, he was not too thrilled about pictures at first.

We also had a really fun family of four. The kids were pretty excited by the presents and we had to keep telling them there was nothing in them so they wouldn't rip them open. There were a couple of close calls, but we got some really fun pictures out of them.

Beauty and the Beast

West Point Junior High recently put on the Jr. version of Beauty and the Beast, and it was terrific! We did photography two nights, and filmed one night. Here are a few of my favorite pictures from great moments in the show.

And here is the full cast, it was a huge group, almost 100 people just on the stage, not to mention all the stage crew and other helpers. It was really fun to be involved.

Thanksgiving Photo Contest

It's that time of year for gratitude and reflecting on what you are grateful for. In that spirit we wanted to keep our photo contest this week centered on what we are grateful for. Send us in a picture of something, or someone you are grateful for in your life. It could be your family, your pet, even your TV. Whatever you are grateful for, take a photo, and send it in. We will be giving away something else to be grateful for, an Amazon gift card, just in time for the holidays.

Christmas Mini-Sessions

We are proud to announce our new Christmas mini sessions! For only $20 you get 30 minutes of shooting time, and 10 edited images on a CD or as a digital download. These pics are great for Christmas cards, Christmas presents or festive decorating. 

We can shoot at a location of your choosing, or you can come have the shoot in our studio. Below are a few fun examples from our first shoot of the season.

Superhero Contest Winner...wait Winners!

This post is late in coming, but we were out of town this week, and with the extension of the contest we didn't have time to get things up before we left. That being said, let the winners be named!

As these contests have progressed we have started to notice a trend which is the audience choice photo is frequently different than the one we like the best, for a lot of reasons. This contest was no exception. So we have decided, moving forward, to offer two prizes for each contest; a people's choice and a Black Hat Media choice award.
