Alfred Hitchcock Movie Challenge Shoot
We are currently working on a short film for a contest where the only rule is to create a film under 2 minutes in the style of Alfred Hitchcock. It has been a cool experience to plan it out and especially to light and design for black and white, which I have never done. The reality is that some of these clips look downright silly in color, but in black and white they are a totally different story. Here are just a few stills from our first shoot of the main character. What do you think, have we captured a bit of Hitchcock?

The Drive-In Movie Review Espisode 1: Casablanca
We have been working on a fun project that we hope will continue for a long time to come. We love old movies and see that a lot of people don't think they will enjoy them, so we wanted to do movie reviews of some of our favorite old movies as though they were brand new. We're hoping we can inspire people to find the same enjoyment out of these movies that we've had.
All that being said below is a link to our first review, we decided to go with a classic: Casablanca. If you like it feel free to check out our other reviews, links will pop up at the end. And don't forget to subscribe to us on Youtube!

Castle Themed Surprise Birthday Party
As in the Nathan Fillion show, not the medieval European structure. If you are a fan of Castle you'll enjoy this. Soren, aka Castle, showed up not knowing what was about to happen. He then had to act his part, and help solve the mystery. It was a ton of fun to film this since we also didn't know anything that was happening and just had to follow along.

My Son's Nursery
When my wife started talking about designing a nursery I was not too excited. I threw out a lot of silly ideas that I thought she would never take, and most of them were shot down. One day I jokingly said we should do a superhero theme, and to my surprise she got really excited about it. So we have been slowly putting together an awesome nursery ever since. Here is a look at the more or less finished product, although it will likely improve as we find more fun things to add.

Kayla's Bridals
This was our first chance to do photos at the Capitol building, and it was awesome! The space is beautiful and really gives extra elegance and beauty to a bride. We will definitely be shooting here again.

Inspiration
I have decided to post quotes, and songs from time to time that inspire me. Mostly, they will be of crooners, and actors/actresses of the time. That's my time period. They inspire me to be everything and anything I want to be, and they, mostly Frank, but all of them, inspired the name and logo of our company. I may not always post them here, so follow us on Twitter, Facebook, and, coming soon, we will be on Pinterest! More inspiration headed your way.
Artifact - 24 Hour Challenge Video
This video was created as part of a 24 Hour film challenge. The rules were that you could use a maximum of 5 people as cast and crew, and the finished product could only be a maximum of 3 minutes long. The theme was Eureka, we had to use the line of dialogue, "what are the odds of...." and we had to use a lightbulb as a prop. I hope you enjoy it!

Birthday Decorations
Our amazing little boy turned One this weekend! He absolutely loves the movie The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, so we threw him a Winnie the Pooh themed party. I had seen this timeline idea on Pinterest, and my husband and I decided to take it a step farther. (The basic idea is that you put up a picture for each month they have been alive so far.)This is what we came up with. It's here for you to save and use for your very own party! If you have any problems downloading it, just shoot us an email, and we will get you the original. It's probably obvious, but they are, in order, Winnie the Pooh, Tigger, Piglet, Eeyore, Rabbit, and Christopher Robin.
Here is the finished product at the party.

Skyfall Before and After
Working on the Skyfall video for the Salt Lake Pops has been a fun challenge over the last few weeks. It has been a challenge in part because I only shot part of it so I had to piece together mounds of footage that I had never seen before, and in part because we wanted the video to feel like it had an edgy feel which the source footage didn't capture.
Below are a few samples of the work that I did to get the video ready, taking relatively flat footage and making it feel more exciting. We wanted to video to feel like it took place in its own world, so a lot of work went into coloring, and adding the right flares to achieve the feel we were going for.
The video should be up in a couple of days, I hope you enjoy it!
