Beauty and the Beast

West Point Junior High recently put on the Jr. version of Beauty and the Beast, and it was terrific! We did photography two nights, and filmed one night. Here are a few of my favorite pictures from great moments in the show.

And here is the full cast, it was a huge group, almost 100 people just on the stage, not to mention all the stage crew and other helpers. It was really fun to be involved.

White Mountain

White Mountain was part of a short play festival called "Immortal Hearts", performed at the Provo Theater Company Building. It was written by Mahonri Stewart, a playwright who grew up in Utah Valley but now lives in Arizona.









It is a story of frontier America in the mid 1800's, and how the growth of the Mormon church affected lives and families.


It was a great chance once again to not only do some production photography but also to do some promotional work in creating the poster, flyers and program for the production.

Clue

Clue was performed at the amphitheater at Canyon Glen Park up Provo Canyon. One of the really great things about this show was how much fun could be had with the board game tie-in. We created some special souveneirs for the cast and some great promotional materials in addition to the photos we shot.

Short Attention Span Theater

This was our first chance to shoot a performance. This is UVU's Short Attention Span Theater, a 10 minute play festival that is put on every year. All plays are written, directed, produced, costumed and designed by students.

There were also various performances by UVU's Repertory company, or "Black Box".
